In my over 40 years of drawing experience, I've learned a few things about the subject of drawing;) This isn't necessarily a "how to draw" manual, but rather a guide on what to ‘feed’ your drawings.

I've realized that good, solid drawings contain an essence and an almost formulaic structure. These "ingredients" can be boiled down to simple and understandable ideas.

If you feel that your drawings might be missing something, but you can't quite put your finger on it, you may be missing some of these 'pillars.'

My hope is that this manual provides beginner artists (and perhaps seasoned artists as well) with more insight into the wonderful, mysterious, magical (and sometimes misunderstood) world of drawing!
